I designed and taught courses on International Business, Entrepreneurial Leadership, Cash Flow Management, Business Funding, Business Analysis and Strategy, Program Management, and Project Evaluation. My students were involved in an immersion project in which they created an operational online store during the course of a semester. The products they sold were sourced locally in Mexico and in order to pass their courses for the semester, the students had to develop a strong record of sales before the semester came to a close. All of the challenges I assigned were designed to strategically develop the foundational structure of each student's entrepreneurial skillset and attitude. My students were required to regularly provide a practical demonstration of results in various aspects of their operations as their businesses develop. This challenge-based approach provided my students the real-life experience of developing sustainable businesses by systematically integrating key processes covered in my courses. In this way, my students found innovative solutions for challenges of value chain creation, strategic analysis, market evaluation, funding, supplier negotiation, and operations management, all within a multicultural context .
