About Dr Cathryn Hs Driver
An academic by heart I have dedicated my professional career to research. I obtained my Ph.D. in Medical Biochemistry with specialisation in Organic chemistry in 2014 and have since worked with a team researching the synthesis of new radiopharmaceuticals including their radiolabelling and pre-clinical testing. Radiopharmacy has always been a passion of mine and being able to work in an environment where I can see my research not only being implemented but also tested in a clinical setting. I believe in continuous learning and constantly improving. I also look forward to contributing towards more research papers in my field of study.

In my dual role as Senior Scientist at Necsa and Academic Programme Leader at NuMeRI my main concern and responsibilities include the synthesis of new radiopharmaceuticals including their radiolabelling and pre-clinical testing.I am also in charge of post-graduate student supervision and project management for Preclinical Imaging Facility (PCIF) studies.I also liaise with the Animal Ethics committee and undertake intellectual property administration, patent review, and innovation disclosure submissions. I also form part of the Necsa Medical Diagnostics and Therapy Impact area team.
