Chris has delivered, industry training in areas such as Business Planning, Leadership, Managing Stakeholders, Communication, Mentoring and Coaching, Operations Management, and Client Interaction Strategies, to Local Government, Health and Retail Service sectors. Industry clients included APESMA, Golder Associates – Environmental Engineers, Polk Autospec – an automotive industry statistical software provider, TRU Energy, Wilmott Forests, and coached senior management from Marrant software USA. Most recently he co-delivered a leadership program to managers of the Chapman Group in Cairns Queensland. As Coordinator Enterpricse Delivery Programs at RMIT from 2001 to 2005 he designed and delivered a customised leadership program to Bunnings Wesfarmers nationally, co-developed the Frontline Management Initiative (FMI) and on line support for the former Dept of Natural Resources and Environment designed and codelivered FMI to CSL, State Revenue Office of Victoria, Coles Myer, and Qenos petrochemicals. Chris was a practicing manager with the Australian federal government for fifteen years working in finance, taxation and superannuation areas of policy and interpretation leading both large and small teams. He then worked in the retail book and music industries. This background plus his applied research provides a real world perspective to his facilitation and devlopment of learning materials. Areas that Chris has expertise include: Leadership practice, managing organisational change, people management, performance management, recruitment and selection, strategy formation, strategy implementation, conflict management, team development, decision making, and developing values driven organisation cultures.
