Dr. Maylor’s bio, Owner of Core Health Chiropractic & WellnessDr. Christopher Maylor was born and raised in beautiful, sunny Ft. Lauderdale, FL. He attended Nova High School, where he graduated top ten percent of his class while participating in varsity sports throughout his tenure. He earned his Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science and a minor in Business Administration from The Florida State University. Dr. Maylor obtained his Doctorate of Chiropractic degree, graduating with honors from Life University in Marietta, GA. His motto: Serving the community one spine at a time.Dr. Maylor’s mission is to use chiropractic to impact people’s lives in a positive way. His holistic approach to chiropractic and his passion for using it as a means for health and wellness allows him to meet patients where they are with unique treatment plans. Whether it is a patient who has severe pain from a car accident/whiplash injury or a weekend warrior wanting to improve his/her back swing in golf, Dr. Maylor is your man. Dr. Maylor gain valuable experience with Goldson Spine 2012-2016, when he was afforded the opportunity to work alongside his mentor - the late Dr. Fidel Goldson, Sr. Dr. Maylor’s professional experience includes providing chiropractic wellness care in Atlanta, GA where he work with celebrity athletes and fitness competitors. While in school he worked as a physical therapy assistant at Broward Health Imperial Point Hospital and supervised at-risk patients in Broward Health Medical Center’s cardiac rehab center. Outside of the office Dr. Maylor feeds his passion for sports and giving back to the community by volunteering as a head coach for the Power Elite Travel Basketball Team and Team Brandon Knight NBA superstar travel organization, were he coaches grades 6th through 12th AAU travel levels. He believes that our youth can be touched through sports and enjoys the mentoring and being a positive role model for the teens that play on the team.
