About Dr. Christopher T. Jones

An experienced human and organizational development director, my passion is co-creating positive consulting relationships to identify, develop, and coach public and private sector leaders. Currently, as Dean of Professional Studies and Professor of Business and Public Policy, my focus is on developing the next generation of business leaders. I created and lead the Institute for Leadership, Business and Public Policy and offer clients the latest leadership development, change management and organizational behavior research and delivery techniques that generate business relevant outcomes by solving strategic human capital challenges. As the founder and principal owner of Senior Executive Results LLC, a national reach organizational development and coaching practice, I provided executive coaching, leadership development, design and delivery services, behavioral and 360 assessments, change management consultation, and organizational development execution including data driven workforce planning and succession strategies for over 10 years. I approached my clients needs by first listening to understand their unique organizational and personal leadership challenges and delivered tailored, actionable and achievable change solutions to increase personal, group and organizational growth and profitabilityWith 15 years of human and organizational development program leadership experience, I have a doctorate in human resource development from The George Washington University, a master of business administration from Florida Institute of Technology and master of occupational health from West Virginia University.     At the CDP, I led the nation's training facility dedicated to developing first responders and first receivers in response to WMD, mass casualty, medical surge, and pandemic incidents. I led the operation of the Chemical, Ordnance, Biological, Radiological, Training Facility (COBRA) where responders trained in a live agent toxic chemical and biological environment with VX, GB, Anthrax, and Ricin. At the Noble Training Hospital, I directed the training of public officials and health care professionals in mass casualty/medical surge disaster response and pandemic preparedness. My primary responsibility leading the Center for Domestic Preparedness was growing the national leadership capacity at the local, state, and federal level for whole of government response to acts of terrorism, pandemic and natural disaster events causing mass casualties and critical infrastructure loss. Training was conducted at our primary instructional campus in Anniston, AL and in each of the 50 states and U.S. territories.
