Participate in institutional service on the College, Department and University levels, such as serving on committees, engagement in school governance, collaboration with community partners, and building relationships with local criminal justice agencies.

Chief, Police Services, GS-14 2005 to 2022 (Retired July 2021)Planned, and oversee law enforcement activities and chief investigator for the entire Southeast Region of Louisiana Health Care System (New Orleans, Baton Rouge, Slidell, Mandeville, Hammond, and St John). Disseminate information regarding anticipated crime to law enforcement agencies. Develop Policies and procedures for removal of violent offenders. Managed over (59) employees.Program Manager Analyst of a highly complex tertiary care medical center with 200 beds, and over 6 communities-based outpatient clinics located in the SLVHCS, employing over 1500 employees and accountability of payments for a $800 million project. Championed the activation movement process for the new Administration Building, Inpatient Building, Central Energy Plant, Outpatient Tower, D&T, Transitional Living, and Canteen Services. Focus on quality and safety though management huddles, focused communications, and emphasis on a culture of safety resulting in improved reporting of issues and overall patient satisfaction. As part of my cultural change strategy, focus groups were held; staff was trained in systems thinking and received activation training for the following services; logistics, facilities management services, health system administration, humans resources, public relations, and etc. to improve patient satisfactory. I championed the post occupancy survey, move plan, and move guide for the Southeast Louisiana Veterans Healthcare System. Executed communication plan and provided briefings to employees and management referencing the new VA Medical Center. Initiated white paper on the risk of smoking to underscore why the new VA Medical Center should be a smoke free campus and completed data analysis.
