My educational career began with teaching English literacy courses at a local community college in South Florida. After earning my Master’s degree in Business Administration, I transitioned to teaching business courses to adult learners and mentoring high school students pursuing entrepreneurship.In 2015, I completed my Doctorate in Education specializing in 𝐎𝐫𝐠𝐚𝐧𝐢𝐳𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐋𝐞𝐚𝐝𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐡𝐢𝐩 from Nova Southeastern University. While working on my dissertation, 𝐈 𝐛𝐞𝐜𝐚𝐦𝐞 𝐟𝐚𝐬𝐜𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐝 𝐛𝐲 𝐄𝐦𝐨𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐈𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐥𝐥𝐢𝐠𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞 (𝐄.𝐈.) 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐥𝐞𝐚𝐝𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐡𝐢𝐩 𝐝𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐥𝐨𝐩𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐜𝐞𝐩𝐭𝐬. I participated in rigorous Emotional Intelligence training to become a certified consultant by Multi-Health Systems, Inc. My goal was to understand the impact of E.I. training on emerging leaders in corporate settings and students in academia. The results of my research indicated that 𝐄𝐦𝐨𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐈𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐥𝐥𝐢𝐠𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝐭𝐫𝐚𝐢𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠𝐬 aided participants in understanding, acknowledging, managing, and employing their emotions to positively affect their professional and personal lives.With my passion for 𝐄.𝐈. 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐥𝐞𝐚𝐝𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐡𝐢𝐩 𝐝𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐥𝐨𝐩𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭, 𝐈 𝐟𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐝𝐞𝐝 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐄.𝐈. 𝐒𝐮𝐜𝐜𝐞𝐬𝐬 𝐀𝐜𝐚𝐝𝐞𝐦𝐲. At the academy, we offer robust leadership development training sessions at corporations, colleges, and universities, focusing on Emotional Intelligence (E.I.) themes.
