(a neuropsychology group practice) with the Arizona Psychology Training Consortium, a member of APPIC, and subsequently stayed on staff as a Licensed Clinical Psychologist. Provider at HealthSouth Rehabilitation Institute of Tucson and evaluated inpatients referred for psychological difficultly, pain management, and neuropsychological problems due to Acquired Brain Injury (ABI), stroke, dementia, etc., and provided interventions as appropriate (e.g., psychotherapy, taught pain management skills, cognitive screening, behavioral management planning, education to patients and family regarding brain injury). Participated in the development of the Traumatic Brain Injury Education in-service, as part of Health South Rehabilitation Institute of Tucson’s initiative for certification by the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations as a Traumatic Brain Injury Center of Excellence. In a community setting, performed comprehensive outpatient neuropsychological evaluations and provided psychotherapy with a focus on individuals with brain injury and/or chronic pain.
