I obtained my BE (Civil Engg) from Shivaji University, Kolhapur in 1999. I completed my M. Tech. (Structural Engineering) from VTU, Karnataka in 2001. I registered for my part-time Ph. D. in December 2013 at VTU (University Campus), Karnataka, submitted thesis in December 2021 & successfully defended my research work in January 2023 after thorough reviews from Indian & foreign examiners. My research domain was structural concrete (Self-Curing concrete). After post graduation, I worked in industry (sugar factory construction & Golden Quadrilateral highway project) from 2001 to 2004. Initially, I worked in Pratibha Constructions, Kolhapur on sugar factory construction sites for 8 months. I have handled construction of raft foundation meant for housing a boiler as well as godowns for storing sugar. Then I switched over to RNS Construction company (contractor) & worked as Assistant Materials Engineer (AME) in QC laboratory for Golden Quadrilateral highway project; 77 km stretch between Dharwad & Belagavi, Karnataka till the beginning of the year 2004. Our partnering company was Sunway, Berhad, Malaysia & consultants were CEG India & Roughton International London; the client was National Highway Authority of India (NHAI). Since April 2004, I have been teaching various civil engineering courses in the domains of structural engineering, concrete technology & geotechnical engineering. From 2004 to 2007, I worked in colleges affiliated to VTU, Karnataka. Since 2007, I have been working in Mumbai. Currently, I am Associate Professor- Civil Engineering, departmental training & placement coordinator & NEP 2020 coordinator at institute level.
