I have completed my Ph.D. in Supramolecular Chemistry and Perovskite Solar Cell, Academy of Scientific and Innovative Research (AcSIR), CSIR-Indian Institute of Chemical Technology, Hyderabad, India. For my doctoral studies, I have extensively worked on designing and synthesis of novel naphthalenediimide derivatives, their structural characterization and studied their supramolecular self assembly and electrochemical properties using various techniques. The highlights of my thesis being each chapter cover the synthesis of materials, structural characterization, morphology, photophysical properties and their supramolecular nanostructure fabrication. The main challenges in my doctoral research work were the multi-step synthesis of N- substituted naphthalenediimide based derivatives in gram-scale batch with high purity. For synthesizing of these materials, I have conducted amide coupling, McMurry (C-C) coupling) and (C-N) coupling reactions etc. By using these molecules, I have studied there self assembly behavior in aqueous as well as various organic solvents and extensively studied their aggregation process by using DLS, circular dichroism (CD) spectroscopic analysis.Please go through my CV where you can note my experience in organic synthesis and knowledge on optical properties of the materials, their photoelectrochemical properties.
