Specialist mountain bike (MTB) parts and custom built 26" bicycle wheels. Custom wheels supplied with unique graph of individual spoke tension. Our 36 spoke rear wheels were pre-stressed to equivalent of nearly 1000kg compression, which made them very durable. Lots of work rebuilding wheels made by cheaper companies who did not "finish the job" (e.g. the wheel was circular, but spoke tension uneven thus prone to buckling). Debunked bad science about wheel building, which was seen as a 'dark art'.

This built on my experience as a Bulletin Board System (BBS) "Sysop" that gave thousands of people their first email address.2K stopped taking new clients in 1999, but some legacy customers remained for many years. Website hosting moved off our hardware and into data centres (most recently in Roubaix).We used to own a chunk of Freeserve, who pioneered "free" internet access i.e. no monthly fee, just the per-minute cost of the phone call with their modem. This was the internet for most people before 128k broadband!
