It is this systematic approach to diagnosing and treating individuals that has given me the ability to connect best with my patients.I focus on the five components to your health which are as follows:1. Internal Health - Spinal alignment, nervous system function, biomechanics, muscular imbalances etc.2. Exercise - Prescribing the appropriate exercises for your body, limitations and goals. Postural exercises, corrective exercises, yoga, Pilates etc.3. Mental Health - Identifying any mental factors limiting ones health. i.e. Psychosomatic connection between brain and body and its contribution to the presenting pain or problem. Suggesting ways to have better mental organization including journaling, goal setting, affirmations, giving gratitude and more.4. Nutrition - Educating patients on the connection between their health and their diet. pH testing to identify the acidic effects on ones health, eliminating inflammatory foods including milk, cheese, dairy, bread, processed foods, fast foods, simple sugars and artificial sweeteners.5. Rest and Recovery - Many people either are over stressed or overtraining. Both release unhealthy amounts of the stress hormone cortisol which breaks down the connective tissues in the body and stores fat.
