I am also involved in the diagnosis and treatment of patients with autoimmune hepatitis, PBC, PSC, NAFLD, DILI and Hepatocellular carcinoma.My professional expertise and duties include: * Performance of paracentesis in ambulatory patients (more than 60 procedures annually); * Medical and endoscopic treatment of cirrhotic patients (over a 30 Endoscopic band ligation procedures per year); * Performed more than 100 Fibroscans , I serve as an hepatology consultant for the Divisions of Internal Medicine and Surgery at my Institute (about 400 beds combined).* I take an active part in the hepatology training of rotating internal medicine residents and medical students.
