A Veterinarian , Veterinary Microbiologist and Food safety researcher with over 12 years experience in veterinary matters and University teaching and research. I am widely involved in the dairy and poultry sector and have worked on the occurrence, effects, and mitigation of mycotoxins especially aflatoxins in the two species, and enhancing vaccination efficacy in poultry. I have also worked on promoting milk quality and safety. I’m currently involved in research dealing with microbiology, food safety, reduction of antimicrobial use, and control of zoonotic diseases. I’m both practical and hands-on in training, awareness creation, and laboratory analysis of feed, food, and biological samples, and I have extensively worked on milk safety analysis.
