I am the Co-founder of Applied Psychologies, a national, and now employee-owned Educational Psychology company consisting of 30 multi-agency professionals who provide dedicated support to over 170 educational settings in the United Kingdom. It’s all about building relationships and applying psychology to promote positive outcomes for children and young people, their families and educational settings. I am a HCPC Registered Educational Psychologist with a Doctorate in Applied Educational Psychology from the University of Nottingham. I also guest lecturer at the University of Lincoln and the University of Nottingham and was honoured to be Special Guest Alumni speaker at the University of Lincoln Graduation Ceremony in 2019. Outside of education I am a former Great Britain Judo International, 3 x national medalist at under 73kg and 2 x British Universities champion. My specialities include Educational Psychology, Sports Psychology and Organisational Psychology drawing heavily upon motivational theories and solution-focused approaches.
