Analysed crime trends on a strategic level, predicting future crime issues and identifying barriers within the service to addressing these. This involved the analysis of a variety of large datasets.Managed the risk assessment process to set the force goals for a three-year period, and also produced risk model for same. Liaised with organisational/business departments within the service to ensure operational and organisational priorities were aligned.Had key role in leading a move towards a partnership-led, causation-focused approach within the police. Routinely communicated with numerous personnel in the form of writing reports, giving presentations and facilitating consultation workshops.

Varied career as intelligence analyst at divisional level within one of the largest police divisions in the UK.Involved on an operational level on numerous major inquiries, including several high profile murder cases. Involved in the analysis of a wide range of crime issues from anti-social behaviour to serious sexual offences.
