Coordinating and conducting academic advising and student support services to assist all students (SGTC service delivery area -6 counties) in their program of study, managing staff development for all the college’s employees, coordinating with the HR all the college’s supervisor training, overseeing Learning Is For Everyone Lab (tutoring and counseling services for all at-risk students) and assisting with Special Projects. Reviews Early Alerts and provide student interventions to ensure student success. Serves as SGTC Point of Contact for the Go Back, Move Ahead initiative as well as liaison for the college’s new Retention efforts, design Early Alert initiative, and contact person for students to acquire information regarding the college and community resources. Responsible for the coordination with Student Affairs and Academic Affairs.

Contact business and industry to assist Career Services in getting students placed after graduation since there was not an individual house on the satellite campus. Administer the COMPASS and Asset entrance exam when needed. Reviews schedules to assure teaching assignments are within faculty loads and sufficient for a full-time load for full-time faculty. Monitors all satellite campus course offerings to ensure that SGTC policies and procedures are followed and monitors facilities maintenance and direct the Facilities Manager with any deficiencies and/or needs. Work closely with the High School Coordinator to manage and supervise faculty teaching classes for students dually enrolled at the high school(s) within Crisp County. Assist the Adult Education Department in facility scheduling for GED testing and Adult Ed classes. Assist the Admissions Director with coordination and implementation of Student Activities/Campus Life on the Crisp County Campus. Assure that instructors on the Crisp County Campus receive appropriate program-related staff development. Coordinate the provision of appropriate professional development for personnel, (faculty and staff), on the Crisp Satellite Campus. Provide orientation and training to new instructors on the satellite campus as well as orientation to all students enrolling in the college. Assist in locating prospective employees for instructional positions on the Crisp County Campus and for programs at Crisp County High Schools. Engage in public relations activities where appropriate. Visit schools and businesses to promote technical education. Serve as guest speaker for various programs and activities when invited. Assist with PAS and PAR development for the Academic Affairs Department. . All in all, in charge of the day to day operations at the satellite campus to include Student Services, Academic Affairs, Institutional Effectiveness, Human Resource, Bookstore, Facilities etc

Duties included: handling online students from admission (applications, testing, counseling, and advisement), training online faculty and students, reviewing and supervising, interviewing and assigning faculty classes, preparing memorandum of agreements each quarter, preparing payroll sheets for human resource, monitoring and evaluating faculty, initiating and serving as point of contract for the Prison Reentry Program at the Sumter County Correctional Institute, serving as point of contact for the state GVTC department, setting up 24 hour computer lab for student focusing on dorm students and student without computer access, mentoring special population and dorm students to promote student success, developing a student council to resolve student issues online, developing a distance education handbook, attending all faculty and leadership meeting and seeking advisory members as well as contribute to the agenda for the advisory meetings.Courses Facilitated: Early Childcare Facilities Management, Early Childcare Personnel Management, Early Childhood Care Program Administration, Principles of Management, Entrepreneurship, Small Business Management, Introduction to Marketing and Leadership
