Jason “Dr.Decks” Russell Has been building custom outdoor living environments since 1991.After attending the School of Hard Knocks, he studied under master carpenter James Russell of Reno, NV where he met his wife Kiki. Upon returning to his roots in Tacoma, WA, Jason and Kiki created Dr.Decks in 1991.As man-made and aftermarket Outdoor Living products have evolved, so has Jason’s ability to manipulate them. Specializing in heat modification of PVC decking and railing products, Jason has created many award winning decks and structures that expand the imagination of his clients and captured the eye of a new generation of online fans and followers of his art. Integration of automated and remote controlled sections of decks is Jason's newest focus. Pioneering a new movement in outdoor living, Jason is integrating motion and sound into his current builds to create one off masterpieces for the lucky few who have the opportunity to commission him to build their expanded living space.
