I am a protein biochemist and biophysicist with 16 years of research experience in protein expression, purification and functional studies of proteins of various natures and from different hosts. I have worked in the area of Neuroscience and neurodegenerative diseases for their basic understanding to drug targeting. Currently I am working as a Lead scientist in the biopharmaceutical industry. My expertise includes establishment of biosimilars purification and characterization using different bio-assays and protein assays. I have expertise in Biophysics viz HPLC, RP-HPLC, SEC chromatography, Surface plasmon resonance spectroscopy, DLS, fluorescence spectroscopy, FTIR, CD spectroscopy, immunoblotting, and other techniques with cell line handling and work with mice models. I follow and implement cGLPs and cGMPs in laboratory with emphasis on Integrity of research work. I am well efficient in handling multiple projects both as an individual and as the team leader.
