I have a passion for healing and helping others, and a strong desire to educate people. I am a Chiropractic Physician at Reconstructed Wellness. I utilize manual adjustments using diversified technique and instrument assisted technique, as well as muscle work, to address the prominent injury. I absolutely believe that part of healing process is to focus on the cause, not just the symptom, and to educate patients about their own bodies and to empower them to be active in their own recovery. I help guide my patients to be proactive with their own health by giving nutritional counseling, home stretches and exercises to aid in quicker recovery from injury and promote general wellness. Movement is what keeps us alive!! Our bodies are built to move and be active! Dance, hike, walk, bike, swim, throw, kick, dive, run, row, yoga, climb, etc. Let’s keep you moving! And let’s not forget the health benefits of meditation and laughter :)And… posture is key. We will work on this and ways to improve it. Looking at our phones and computers all day leads to a lot of headaches, neck, shoulder, and upper back pain. And sitting for long hours leads to low back issues. So posture really is very integral to how our bodies function and heal. I implement soft tissue techniques such as myofascial trigger point therapy, IFC, ultrasound, gua sha, cupping, heat, cryotherapy, and stretching to address muscle imbalances, weakness, tightness, spasms, and myofascial release. I find it incredibly important to create an atmosphere of serenity and warmth. Giving this to patients is crucial so that they can allow themselves to relax and release mental or emotional stress that may be contributing to the stress on their bodies.
