Significantly increased the number of Community Relations Board members byestablishing diverse partnerships with leaders from the local area.• Provided strategic leadership by establishing standardized tasks for each department whichreduced the time spent on tasks by 40%. Implemented innovative fiscal practices during the2017 Continuing Resolution and Hiring Freeze to remain below the forecasted budget.

• Assumed responsibility for the supervision of various programs and operations within thecountry’s largest federal detention center. Developed a strategic plan to reduce overtimeexpenditures, leading to a cost savings of nearly 50% from the previous fiscal year (FY).• Led the design and adoption of the 2014 vision plan to address workplace bullying andincrease employee morale. Created a template for annual departmental retreats, inspiringteam commitments and motivating employees throughout the facility.• Convened several meetings with stakeholders during the 2014 Ebola crisis and negotiatedresponse protocols that developed a partnership between agencies, including the New YorkCity Fire Department, New York State Department of Health and Bellevue Hospital.• Facilitated leadership training during Principles of Leadership Phase 1 for all new managersin the Northeast Region.
