As Global Business head, my responsibility in real sense is CONCEPT to COMMISSIONING with gross target of taking from LOCAL Indian Company with more than 70% market share in its field to a GLOBAL COMPANY to be considered as the TOP few in the world. Next was to work-out a strategy to have sustainable growth of 40% for another 5 years so that our sales turn-over grows from nearly Rs.500 crore to Rs. 2000 crore. Last but not the least is to have EBITA for all new business not less than 15% in Indian perspective while 20-25% for Global Investment.We could able to LAP 2 GLOBAL VEHICLE program with 9 manufacturing sites world wide and each has global potential of giving a sales turn-over of Rs.1000 crore each by 2010 end. So, I was off the mark within 3 months time and since we able to replace Global giant like Dyna Corporation, so our EBITA target of 25% is achievable with Indian costing and technology.Further, I found another segment as part of diversification strategy, A Commercial Vehicle, where our presence was negligible and growth potential excellent and so we ventured into a NEW SEGMENT like LCV, MCV &HCV Chassis manufacturing. As we found that a single manufacturing line has capacity to meet the requirement of atleast 3 OEM and it is a virgin field where we had some past experience and we will be competing with global OEM. So, again the strategy worked & we could able to tie-up three MCV-HCV vehicle program which has ventured in India as JV with existing OEM & with investment of less than Rs. 100 crore the business we tied-up will reach a sales turn-over of Rs.600-700 crore and with gross margin of 20% we again were very much on the mark.So, with the acumen of NEW BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT, I am on the mark and now it is the implementation phase which I am handling with my vast experience of able NEGOTIATION & global networking, I am sure of completing the task with a total investment of Rs. 500-600 crore and with EBITA of 20% our ROI in less then 3 years.
