New Role, New Responsibilities. At Nference, I served as a Program Manager, where my primary focus was on driving various projects and initiatives for Pramana, our subsidiary. My responsibilities included coordinating cross-functional teams, managing project timelines, and ensuring the successful execution of our goals. During this time, I played a pivotal role in aligning our strategic objectives with the broader mission of both Nference and Pramana.Recently, I transitioned to Pramana as a full-fledged R&D Manager. While the organizational structure has changed, my core responsibilities and commitment remain steadfast. In my new role, I am dedicated to leading research and development efforts to bring innovative solutions to the forefront. I oversee the development of new technologies, guide the R&D team, and foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.This shift allows me to focus more directly on advancing Pramana's mission, leveraging the knowledge and experience gained from my tenure at Nference. I am excited to continue contributing to Pramana's growth and success, driving forward our vision with renewed energy and dedication.

At Nference, I am building systems to solve challenges in the Healthcare Industry. We have built a automated digital microscope (whole slide imager) with innovative imaging and advanced analytics for imaging pathological slide. The system offers high quality digital whole slide images (biopsies, blood smear, pap smear, TB etc.) and along with a comprehensive suite of analytical tools to improves objectivity, accuracy and throughput for our clients.

As a Manager of Hardware Engineering in Spectral Insight; I am responsible for design and product development of our Fully Automated Whole Slide Imaging System - Vulcan. And also the necessary tools for managing, analyzing the images from our whole slide imaging system. We are empowering Pathology labs with latest technologically advanced whole slide scanner to improve efficiency, accuracy and high-end capability building.

I was working in IMEC – India as a Senior Research engineer. I was responsible for new product design and development work. I was involved in complete development of a Hyper-spectral Retinal Imaging device, Advanced automated Hyper-spectral Microscope using Solid state illumination and Monochrome Imager (Capable of automated full slide scanning and full slide viewing), Optical design of a Micro Raman Spectrometer for in-vivo diagnostics. Further more my work was focused on discovering new frontiers and application areas for hyper-spectral imaging in biological systems, pathology, agriculture, food quality control, automobile industry.

I was working with i2n Technologies Pvt Ltd as Project Manager in Research & Development group. My work focused in particular on the development of STM (Scanning Tunneling Microscope) and AFM (Atomic Force Microscope) instrumentation for the characterization of nano-structures and on the experimental study for further development of ultra-high vacuum SPM, AFM for the nanotechnology applications. The job involves management of talented manpower & technology.

As a RA, in the Jack Dodd Center for Quantum Technology, University of Otago, New Zealand, we have successfully set up an experiment for the measurement of ultra-weak transitions in molecular oxygen with cavity enhanced frequency modulation spectroscopy (CEFMS) using a high finesse cavity. The spectrum of molecular oxygen consists of a number of weak absorption bands, which are of importance for understanding and modeling the Earth's atmosphere. Further we have developed a longlength multipass cell which could be used as a gas sensor at part per billion level.

As a Sr. Manager in Optics and Optoelectronics, I was actively involved in the designing and development of prototype for the advanced photometer using multi-channel optical fiber and advanced solid-state optical devices for Transasia's In Vitro diagnostic systems like micro plate readers, hematolyzers and clinical chemistry automated analyzers. I have significantly contributed on developing the photometers of three different prototypes like EM200 automated analyzer, ERBA LISA-Scan II and ELAN-30S, which were successfully launched in the year 2008-09

I actively participated in the design and development of micro-sphere resonators based sensors using fluorescence resonance energy transfer (FRET). The micro-spheres based sensors are generally used as sensors for extreme environments.

I have worked in the optical design and development of advanced dye based solar cell which will give maximum quantum efficiency for the light absorbed for the solar spectrum. I was further involved in the simulation and design of backlight modeling for advanced display films. Furthermore, I have actively involved in setting up of the photometer in the UV ranges for the protein purity checker experiment.
