I have accomplished Ph.D. in biological anthropology from Department of Anthropology, Panjab University , Chandigarh. I have been awarded with Wenner Gren Scholarship. I am a member of International Union of Anthropological and Ethnological Sciences(IUAES). I am a panel convenor at IUAES,Russia,2022. The title of my panel is Anthropology of Epidemics: Biological and cultural factors associated with the epidemics in the contemporary era" under the Commission on Medical Anthropology and Epidemiology and Commission on Anthropology of Pandemics (IUAES) Russia,2022. I presented an original research paper entitled" Association of the anthropometric parameters with the vitamin D deficiency among the adult males of Chandigarh, India" at IUAES, Yucatan, Mexico, 2021. l have expertise in data collection, analysis and report writing. I have published original research articles in medical journals of international repute. JIPMER,Puducherry has acknowledged my research work. I presented my research paper at International Conference on Research Advancement Resilience in the Pandemic Era: A Drive for Innovative Transformation organized by NSHM: School of Health Sciences and achieved first prize . I have published a book entitled "VALUE THE COURAGE WITHIN" (ISBN: 9789353475031) with an objective of mental health promotion. I have extra ordinary communication skills. Leadership ability, group organization capacity and time management are the skills which make me suitable for leading any project. I was Department Representative of Department of Anthropology, Panjab University, Chandigarh. I was a UGC-JRF holder. I have been appointed as a Secretary, Commission on Aging and the Life Course, IUAES.
