Dr. Divya Kumar is a PhD awardee in Organizational Behaviour from one of the top ranked university for its academics and research output under the guidance of Dr.P.T.Srinivasan (Prof & Head, Retd.) of University of Madras. Having awarded the Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) by the University Grants Commission (UGC) she was a full-time research fellow at the Department of Management Studies. Graduated in Commerce from Stella Maris College, she did her master’s in management from a Business school, where she specialized in Human Resource Management. She has a great passion for social science researches and analyses and never misses an opportunity to upgrade her research skills. Dr. Divya has authored several papers on Psychological ownership among employees at workplace including one published in Journal of Management and Sciences (2012). She has presented a number of papers in both National and International Conferences on Psychological ownership. In 2015, she was one of the few to present at the Twelfth AIMS International Conference on Managing Challenges in Uncertain Environment Indian Institute Management Kozhikode (IIM-K) and at the 26th National Academy of Psychology (NAOP), IIT Madras in 2016. In 2019, The Registrar of Copyrights (Government of India) certified copyrights for her doctoral thesis work on “Psychological Ownership and Its Relationship with Interpersonal Trust and Individual Work Outcomes.” Her journey at Avtar, India’s premier Diversity, Equity & Inclusion strategy firm began in the year 2016. Her prominent work as an associate in corporate India’s most comprehensive gender analytics exercise Avtar & Seramount Best Companies for Women in India study (BCWI) since launched in 2016 and Most Inclusive Companies Index (MICI), in 2019. She is one of the contributors for - Avtar’s Annual Research Report - Viewport 2018 and 2019 which is widely used and quoted extensively by decision-makers across industries and functions to form their basis of strategic thoughts to ensure women employment. Dr. Divya, has penned several newsletter and blog articles on DEI and women professionals career enablement.
