Dr. Doaa Mostafa AlEraky, B. Pharm, MSc, MBA, Ph.D., FHEA, is an assistant professor of Microbiology and Immunology at the College of Medicine, Gulf Medical University, Ajman, UAE. Formerly, at Imam Abdulrahman Bin Faisal University, Saudi Arabia.Dr. Doaa has a Master’s and Ph.D. in Microbiology and Immunology from Cairo University (Egypt) and a Fellowship of the Higher Education Academy (FHEA) from Advanced HE (UK) along with a Master in Business Administration (MBA). Dr. Doaa has contributed to the planning, tutoring, assessing, and directing different courses in Saudi Arabia, Egypt, and the UK over the past 10 years. Dr. Doaa is an international scholar with significant publications and research grants, mainly in the domains of microbiology and immunology, and medical education. She has been a co-author, and a reviewer in high-impact journals, including Medical Education, BMC Antimicrobial Resistance and Infection Control, PLOS ONE, Journal of Fungi, International Journal of Molecular Sciences, and others. Current research interests of Dr. Doaa include Oral Microbiology, Reverse vaccinology, hospital-acquired infections, Innovative approaches in Teaching, and Assessment of Higher Education.Dr. Doaa has won various awards from different authorities in Saudi Arabia including the Excellence Award in University Education Development, the Gold Award in Community Services, and the Best Research Award.
