With over 15 years of experience in the education sector, and roles at every level from the classroom to government to philanthropy, I have a deep understanding of how to create change for students. As the chief strategy officer at Boston Schools Fund, I led the organization's vision, direction, and execution of initiatives that aimed to ensure every student in Boston has access to a high-quality school. I have a Doctor of Education Leadership degree from Harvard University and a Master of Public Policy degree from Georgetown University, with a focus on education and social policy.My core competencies include strategic planning, fundraising, program and partnership development, policy analysis and advocacy, external relations and communications, and organizational leadership. I leverage these skills to collaborate with diverse stakeholders, such as nonprofits, government, philanthropy, schools, and districts, and to create innovative solutions that address the needs and challenges of historically marginalized students. Some of the results associated with my work include state-level and district-level policy changes, increased equity and diversity in selective high schools, and expanded access to effective school models and practices, and building of new education coalitions. I am committed to using all of my skills and networks to level the playing field of opportunity for youth in this country and will never give up on continuing to push for change.
