I am a fully qualified structural engineer and members of the institution of civil engineers. I am a qualified structural engineer, structural surveyor and director of Architectural & Structural Engineers Ltd.My qualifications are; BSc Civil (Structural) Engineer and MSc and PhD in water resources and environment engineering from London University. I have been in the private practice as civil, architectural and structural engineer for more than 20 years. My experience covers in all aspects of planning, building regulation drawing, flood risk assessment, structural report and structural calculation for ‘brickwork traditional houses’ and ‘non-traditional BISF or concrete panel building’, apartments and commercial buildings with over £1,000,000 “professional indemnity insurance” cover.Furthermore; I have handled over one thousand residential building projects involving full technical structural calculation reports, change of use, structural-alteration/renovation, foundation design, basement design, loft conversion and rear extension design and over 100 new build houses and apartments. I have also been involved as site structural engineer and project manager handling over 20 projects from start to finish. I am proud of being fully 3D computer literate designer with cost-effective structural modeler & designer, space-saving and open-design that gives the wow-factor to my clients. One of the project that I was directly involved in design and construction was a reinforced concrete building for BBC Persian service in Kabul — I had to travel 3 times to Kabul to manage this bump proof complicated project — 4 floors with disable access and all to British Standard (BS Standard).
