I have been the sole operator of this establishment since 1976 when I moved from Lagos to Ile-Ife, Nigeria, to begin a career in Academics. My major responsibiliyt since then has been concentrated on the sweeking for, and prosecuting contracts in Engineering Site Investigations for major Civil Engineering projects/structures........roads, jetties, storage tanks/silos, bridges, dams etc. Many contracts were successfully completed. The jobs provided excellent background information for the development of theoretical and practical concepts in my geotechnical research , and especially for the successful completion of some Doctoral degrees of my students in the Civil Engineering Department of the University of Lagos, Nigeria.
