Research Leadership: Led Data Coordinating Center for 4 clinical trials and 10 clinical research projects. Includes the design, statistical plan, data collection and audit, data logistics with all fiscal components, developing reporting templates, and liaison for the Data and Safety Monitoring Board. Served on Data and Safety Monitoring Board. Administrative Leadership: Elected Chair, Faculty Affairs Council 2022-2023, I led 30+ scientists, physicians, and surgeons to advance faculty concerns with administration (sick and vacation leave, shared governance/policy integration, LCME bylaw revision, and hospital/clinical issues for faculty). I also developed the website for the Council and created its infrastructure for documentation and communication (list servs and records for voting, membership list, minutes, and issues). Currently, administration is reworking the leave policy, recent LCME bylaw revisions strengthened the shared governance structure, and policies are being reviewed. Research: (Avg 50-55 projects/yr) Co-Investigator, Principal Investigator, Co-Principal Investigator on $8.6M funding through 13 research grants, $8.5M of that external funding agencies. 62 peer-reviewed publications from successful multi-disciplinary collaborations.Teaching: 5 graduate courses and training through one-on-one statistical and research design training for medical residents, medical fellows, postdoctoral scientists, and some types of graduate students. Consistently receive meritorious marks for supervision and management of my trainees and staff, as well as excellent teaching evaluations averaging 4.4 / 5.0. Mentoring: Supervised 2.5 full time staff, 24 graduate trainees, 1 post-doctoral fellow, 1 undergraduate student, 2 graduate students, and 4 high-school students. Mentoring work resulted in 2 national presentations. Diversity and inclusion: closed captioning of all recorded webinars, focus on accessibility in teaching and research for all trainees.

My work focused on enhanced media presence with social media (Twitter/X, YouTube, and microsite), branding (logo creation, templates), and accessibility (closed captions/transcripts, recorded webinars, and aggregation of provided/crowd-sourced resources).
