Project Manager for DARA - Development in Africa with Radio Astronomy. DARA is a a joint UK-South Africa development project - to help drive economic development in Africa through STEM education.

Conducting research on Thwaites Glacier in Antarctica, using in situ geophysical surveys to asses the stability of the ice in this region, which is experiencing rapid ice-mass loss into the oceans. I also taught on the MSc Exploration Geophysics course and supervised and mentor a number of PhD students.

Conducting seismic explosive and Vibroseis surveys in East Antarctica and Svalbard, to answer questions about current- and palaeo- ice dynamics and glacial processes. I also taught field glaciology to Masters students at the University of Bremen.

PhD in Glaciology and Geophysics joint with the University of Cambridge. My research dealt with icequakes (passive microseismic emissions) from Rutford Ice Stream, West Antarctica. Seismic data processing for the oil and gas industry. Experience in 3D seismic reflection processing of data from a number of areas in the North Sea and West Africa.

Analysing laser altimeter data for the Masin project (climate programme). Specifically looking at determining sea ice thickness from laser altimeter readings taken from a twin otter flying over the Weddell sea.
