Supervising all activities and operations of the microbiology labs in the organization through continuous monitoring, Setting goals for all tasks and measuring the success of their implementation and monitoring their reports, Monitoring the work of technical managers and analysts in microbiology labs, Striving to link the services provided by the organization with the needs of target customers, Training analysts on the latest methods to contribute to achieving professional development in all tests and fields, Adopting executive plans and programs after reviewing them, such as maintenance plans, calibration plans, and proficiency testing programs, Organizing resources and managing annual needs according to expected consumption rates and expansion plans in accreditation new tests scopes, Providing solutions to problems that disrupt work.

Overseeing the quality control, quality assurance, and quality improvement within the overall Quality Management System (QMS) of the laboratory, Developing, reviewing, implementing, and communicating all laboratory quality processes, Providing guidance and consultation concerning quality processes for clinical, environmental, and food testing, Ensuring compliance with local, international regulatory standards such as the Egyptian Standards (ES),and the International Organization for Standardization (ISO), Overseeing internal audit processes, external assessments, proficiency testing programs; document control systems; competency assessment; training and other quality processes, Identifying training needs and designing and implementing training programs specific to the quality system, Recommending best practices to maintain and improve project outcomes or laboratory functions; facilitating laboratory improvement activities, Analyzing data, identifying trends, monitoring prevention and correction of quality deviations, and developing reports for management utilizing technical knowledge and laboratory experience, Monitoring customer satisfaction and performance metrics, Identifying and reporting quality issues and problems to management with recommendations for resolution, Establishing processes and policies for effective and professional communication between laboratory staff and among other interested parties.

Managing and monitoring all day-to-day operations of the relevant laboratory sections, Adhering to the schedule of work, including commitments by ensuring timely issue of results meeting the requirement of Turn Around Time with accurate analytical results., Ensuring that the laboratory meets the customer’s requirements in terms of detection and quantification limits, Ensuring satisfactory investigation and closure of customer complaints, Implementation of the quality management systems as applicable to the lab & improvement of the quality system, Meeting defined quality objectives, supervising the Section Head/ Analyst for equipment maintenance, preventive maintenance, and minimum breakdown, Reviewing the PT, ILC, and quality check reports; in case of failure, reviewing the corrective action taken, Ensuring satisfactory investigation and closure of non-conformances, Identifying opportunities for efficiency improvement and cost-cutting and leading & implementing projects for the same, Assisting GM Operations in other day-to-day management of overall lab operations, Ensuring safety of personnel working in the department, Reviewing & Authorization of results Authorization of Personnel Authorization for development, modification, verification & validation of method and Authorization for opinion & interpretation of results.

Responsible for microbiological techniques, including aseptic techniques, microbial culture, and identification methods, conducting microbiological tests and interpreting results, performance and maintenance of microbiological laboratory equipment and instruments, microbiological safety, sterility assurance, and quality control practices, Ensuring that food products adhere to governmental guidelines for the health and safety of food.

Inspecting live animals that are imported into the country, Inspecting the vessels that import food products and the products they carry to ensure that they comply with food safety regulations, inspecting shipping documents and the vessel’s condition to verify that any food products have remained in hygienic and controlled environments.

Diagnosing and treating injuries and illnesses in animals, Using medical tools and diagnostic equipment, providing essential medical services, Performing routine check-ups, vaccinations, and surgeries to ensure the health of animals, providing emergency care to animals in critical condition.
