Eugene Jackson is the Military Science/JROTC Teacher of Dalton High School JROTC program in Dalton, GA. He is responsible for providing leadership and discipline as a stimuli for promoting graduation from high school. In addition, he also prepares young men and women for adult life after high school by teaching them the skills and abilities necessary to be successful in college, the military, and/or a high-tech, globally oriented, diverse workplace. As a transformational teacher, coach, and mentor, he embraces diversity and students’ individuality by developing meaningful positive relationships with his 200 plus JROTC cadets, the entire student population, and his colleagues. He use his educational knowledge, background, and life experiences to motivate, inspire, and empower young men and women to voluntarily participate in community service projects and other activities that emphasizes citizenship, character development, leadership development, and civic responsibilities.
