Union Activist

I serve as National Vice President of AFGE District 5. I represent Federal employees in Alabama, Florida, Tennessee, South Carolina, Georgia, Porto Rico and the Virgin Islands. I am responsible setting up and operating from an annual budget. Set up training outlines and instruct new officers and stewards. It is my responsibility to conduct classroom training by developing curriculum and agendas that will enhance the stewards in becoming a professional. I encourage classroom participation, and appraise the progress of the stewards and other elected officials. I present cases to management officials in the form of a grievance. It is my responsibility to present cases to arbitration, EEOC, MSPB, etc. I present briefings to higher management officials. I have serve on various committees, such as SAFER ALABAMA and BRAC. I have to maintain a professional relationship with businesses, Chamber of Commerce, elected officials, economic development groups, and social groups. While serving on the BRAC committee. I was called upon to brief a wide range of groups to educate them on the BRAC process.

I currently serve as pastor and chief administrator of the church. I am called upon to administer, weddings, funerals, to instruct, oversee council, witness, and lead in Christian values. I am responsible for planning and setting up curriculum for seminars, training, and workshops. I am also called upon to conduct seminars and training at other churches in towns and cities throughout Alabama, Georgia, and South Eastern United States. I have to use my skills and ability to effectively instruct fellow ministers and lay members by using communication shills that I have obtained through my training. I maintain cooperative relationships, with other pastors, colleges, elected officials, and economic development services and civic groups to ensure that our programs maintain high visibility. I am Responsible for planning and managing the annual administrative budget. Supervise a staff of 4 employees, three minister, seven deacons, and all departments of the church. Programs ran by the office of pastor includes Morning worship, Bible Study, Sunday school, ministers and deacon's classes, and all Committees. It is my responsibility to evaluate the process of biblical theory. I evaluate attendance and encourage class attendance and participation in Sunday school, bible study, Leadership training, etc.

Educate ministers and pastors in the area of religion, establish lesson plans, and assignments. I prepare students for tests and exams, prepare students for the job market by teaching the basic fundamentals of ministering to a congregation. I keep progress charts on each student to track his/her progress throughout the program. I have to maintain cooperative relationships, with other pastors, colleges, elected officials, and economic development services and civic groups to ensure that our programs maintain high visibility. I am Responsible for planning and managing the annual administrative budget for my class.
