A business professional with a background in aerospace, strategic management, human resource management, and strategic intelligence, my responsibilities over the past two and a half decades have included staffing some 2000 managerial, technical, scientific and administrative positions, overseeing the recruitment and selection of European astronauts, controlling budgets of up to 1 B€, and co-developing, implementing, and controlling strategies for the Directorate of Human Space Flight and Operations at ESA.
