About Manfred Franke

Manfred is the CEO of Neuronoff, a clinical stage startup developing treatments for chronic pain and other chronic conditions. As CEO he has raised $15m in funding, helped to develop the Injectrode technology for chronic preclinical and as of 2024 clinical testing for chronic pain. Prior to Neuronoff, he was part of Oculeve, a Stanford Biodesign startup that sold to Allergan for about $300m after only $25m raised. He holds a PhD in Neural Engineering from Case Western Reserve and a MS in Electrical Engineering from TU Dresden in Germany. He is a former Fulbright fellow, DARPA performer, and recipient of the 2014 Doctoral Excellence award from the Case School of Medicine.
