About Dr. Frederick Mayer

I’ve established a practice that integrates chiropractic healthcare, therapeutic massage, nutritional counseling and psychotherapy. My goal is to help my patients balance the physical, nutritional and emotional stresses of daily living, to achieve optimal health and a better quality of life. My background in neurology, bio-mechanics and ergonomics enables me to better understand and successfully treat my patient’s health problems. I particularly enjoy teaching “Back School” classes on injury prevention in the workplace.Specialties: I am experienced in manipulation, or adjustments, of the spine and extremity joints. Other modalities I use to promote healing include microcurrent (electro-acupuncture point stimulation), exercise (stretching, strengthening, balance & coordination) and deep tissue massage (myofascial release technique). Conditions I frequently treat include acute and chronic pain, numbness, weakness and dizziness.
