G. Ravi received his Doctoral Degree of Ph.D. in Information and Communication Engineering from Anna University, Chennai, INDIA in the year 2016. He completed his Master of Engineering in Sona College of Technology (Anna University), Salem years in 2007 and his Bachelor of Engineering at V.L.B. Janaki Ammal College of Engineering and Technology (Bharathiyar University), Coimbatore in the years 2002. He is currently working as Associate Professor in the Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering, Sona College of Technology (Autonomous), Salem-636005. Dr. Ravi has over 18 years’ experience in teaching and research. He received ISTE Periyar award for BEST ENGINEERING COLLEGE TEACHER 2022 from Indian Society for Technical Education Tamilnadu Section. He is a recognized supervisor in Anna University, Chennai. Currently, guiding 13 Ph.D. research scholars, among 5 completed. He has taught many courses in Electronics and Communication Engineering at Post graduate and undergraduate level. He is a member of Board of Studies in Electronics and Communication Engineering at Sona College of Technology since 2010. He has published 36 research papers at national and international level (Elsevier, Taylor & Francis, Inderscience and Springer etc.) and has attended 33 international conferences / symposiums and Workshops. He has credit of 60+ research papers at international journals and conferences. He has organized many Workshops, Guest lectures and Symposiums at international/ National level. Dr. Ravi has successfully guided 40 ME Thesis, and 15 BE projects. Dr. Ravi is a Member of IEEE, IE(I), ISTE and IAENG. His research areas are Wireless Communication, Wireless Ad hoc Networks, Wireless Sensor Networks and Optical Communication
