LSSSC provides access to improved comprehensive preventive and personalized care that spans the physical and mental health needs of individuals and families residing in Southern California. LSSSC has a goal of strengthening mental health and substance use disorder services and better integrating them with physical health care, to achieve whole person care.

Health Administrator with HCA, managing gravely disabled and probate patients and their conservatorship court cases as a court-appointed fiduciary and Deputy Public Guardian. Recommended conservatorship for gravely disabled individuals, while working closely with forensic psychologists and treatment team to complete evaluations and reports in preparation for court hearings. Conducted interviews with patients and their families or when required law enforcement. Worked closely with county counsel to investigate and prepare court reports used in support of hospitalization and conservatorships. Reviewed estates and assets for the purposes of recommending special needs trusts for those patients under conservatorship. As a member of the Strategy and Special Projects team, worked collaboratively to update and create policies and procedures for the Public Guardians office.

Manage 501.(c)3, housing and support programs for sober housing program, including re-entry, and social services support for adults in recovery, overseeing 21 sites throughout San Bernardino County.Directed and coordinated the supportive services department of the SBCSHC on behalf of the Sober Living Network based in Los Angeles. Develop strategy for growth and sustainability plan and program expansion. Prepared and delivered operational reports and operating policies to ensure compliance with state and county regulations to board of directors and deploy policies to individual sites while providing support and training.Set goals and deadlines for the agency.Analyzed internal processes and recommended and implemented procedural or policy changes to improve operations, such as supply changes or the management of records.Planned, administered and controlled budgets for contracts, equipment and supplies.Monitored the facilities to ensure that they remain safe, secure, and well-maintained as required by the Sober Living Network.Conducted training classes to teach procedures/ best practices and provide legislative updates to members.

Working with public health and healthcare management students who require a pre-graduation internship, I provided the training and access to a variety of healthcare experiences and projects designed to prepare them for entry into the job market.
