A trained Pathologist from the Dr. B.Y.L Nair Charitable Hospital & T.N. Medical College of Bombay University, I have been a practicing Pathologist with a special interest in Dermato-Pathology for over a decade. In 2010, I formally trained at the Institute Of LAHA in Slovenia for the use of aesthetic lasers, focussing on the treatment of scars, pigmentation, various signs of ageing, and collagen remodelling. My dual training in pathology and dermatological lasers gives me a unique understanding of how melanin rich skin is different and how the cells react to the environment and to lasers. For over 13+ years, I have been using my expertise to treat patients with brown skin for their various aesthetic concerns. I advise patients across the globe regarding safe and effective treatment options and specialise in providing customized laser treatments that are effective and safe for melanin-rich skin. A particular field of interest is educating people with melanin-rich skin in understanding their skin and it's differences and needs.My interest in studying the differences in melanin-rich skin, it's needs and it's reactions with the environment and with lasers, also sparked an interest for various ingredients that address the unique needs of brown skin.
