About Dr. Gregory Egnaczyk
Being a dentist is my dream job. I feel blessed to have such a fulfilling career. Every day I look forward to being at work, and the challenges and rewards of the day ahead. Our office mission statement is “living health through dentistry while exceeding the expectations of every patient, each day and having fun in the process”. I feel fortunate that I have a team of professionals whose philosophy of dentistry matches mine.; and that translates in working together for the health and comfort of our patients. Commitment to EducationI grew up in the small town of Frankfort in New York State. I graduated with honors from Canisius College in Buffalo and received my doctorate degree in Dentistry from the University of Buffalo. I completed a two year residency in the United States Navy at Yorktown, Va.; before establishing our practice in Huntington in 1975.I am actively involved in continuing education with my staff to provide my patients with the dental services they need and want. Continuing education is a commitment I make to my patients and to my profession. I am a member of several prominent associations such as: American Dental Association, member and past president of Naugatuck Valley Dental Association, Fellow of the Academy of General Dentistry, Honor member of the Pierre Fauchard Academy, and member and past delegate to the Connecticut Dental Society.Outside of the PracticeI love living in Connecticut. It has been a great place to raise my four children. My wife and I now have eight grandchildren that are God’s greatest gift to us. I believe in being an active participant in the community and I love coaching soccer, baseball, softball and basketball. I am a past member of the Woodbridge Board of Education. I am a past president of the Shelton Jaycees and a past president of the Derby- Shelton Rotary. I am a new member to the board of the Housatonic Boy Scouts. I enjoy gardening and I am becoming a good fisherman.
