Dr. Gulzar Ahmad is a visionary, motivated & HEC Foreign Professor, had been working as Head of Psychology Department at Lahore Garrison University, Lahore for the last 5 years wherein, he has contributed 500% increase in strength & revenue of the Department, and demonstrated continuous quality improvement. Dr Gulzar is a Research Supervisor, Corporate Management Trainer, Counselling Psychologist, and President of Pakistan Council on Family Relations. He is PhD in Applied Psychology from University of the Punjab, Lahore (1998) and his degree was evaluated as equivalent to regionally accredited universities in USA. On the invitations of many governmental and non-governmental organizations in North America, South America, Europe, Asia, Africa and Australia, Dr Gulzar participated in over 200 national and international conferences, seminars, webinars and workshops, and holding memberships and positions in over 40 national and international organizations around the globe. His over 35 research papers have been published in journals of national and international repute. He was honored with excellent teaching awards by FBE & some international universities, and the best presenter award in an international conference in Malaysia and the best speaker awards by the Toastmaster International Club, Bahrain. Dr Gulzar was also honored as full Professor by Higher Education Council, Bahrain (2006). In addition to teaching different subjects of Applied Psychology, Management Sciences and Education streams in Pakistan and abroad, he is corporate management trainer in various areas of Applied Psychology, Business Management, Marketing, and Education related disciplines. He served most of his career in Government College University, Lahore (19 years) and some international universities & training corporations in Bahrain (9 years). He is a renowned writer for community’s social and moral development, public speaker, and his interviews were broadcast and telecast on various radio and television channels including PBC, VOA, PTV network, Bahrain radio & television, ABC radio & television South Africa and ABC radio & television Australia. His biography is published in Marquis Who’s Who in the World, New Jersey, US and International Biographical Centre, Cambridge, England, UK in ten consecutive editions each.
