Prepare manufacturing / machining plan, carry out die trials and initial production runs. Plan activities for tool room and design. Align production plan with CAM software (UG NX) for automatic and faster production. Conceptualize and develop new product design using design packages like I-DEAS, AutoCAD and Pro/Engineer.Conduct periodic training programmes for engineers and workers. Conduct appraisals for them.Install and commission new machines in the tool room when required. Negotiate and finalise quotations and orders.
