In the era of global disquiet about environmental health, microorganism based technologies have beenrecognized great attention in place of chemical-based approaches. In the present scenario, metabolic robustness would be the base for the development of environmentally compatible technologies to address the emerging health challenges due to global pollution. I am very much interested to explore the robust metabolic capacity of microorganisms in stress conditions with purification and characterization of value-added products to use in bioremediation applications. I am also eager to work on strain improvement through metabolic engineering for metabolites production to make the remediation process more capable and feasible at the field level.
