I received my Bachelor in Medicine and Surgery (M.B.Ch.B) from the University of Baghdad, Iraq in 2006. I subsequently did master & PhD degree in community health at the National University of Malaysia (UKM). My main research area is Nutrition and Also non-communicable diseases.I am a Certified Public Health Nutritionist (cPHN) (WPHNA). I worked as PhD Fellow at United Nations University, International Institute for Global Health (UNU-IIGH) in 2012 and senior medical lecturer at department of community health, faculty of Medicine, National University of Malaysia (UKM) from September 2013 till December 2015. An Associate Professor of community medicine at International Medical School (MSU) (2016-2020). I published 134 full papers in peer reviewed journals with 77 of them in Scopus index journals and H index (19). Editorial board member of BMC Public health & PLOS Global Public Health journal. I was involved as speaker in many training & workshops about research and publication in Malaysia & Iraq. Currently, I am an Associate professor & Director of Continuous Education Center at Al-Bayan University, Iraq.
