Environment and biotechnology professional with more than 20 years of experience in Saudi Arabia and the United Kingdom. Technical expertise in the assessment and management of environmental risks across corporate and field projects, with excellent knowledge of biotechnology and next generation sequencing analysis tools. I am leading, managing, and consulting strategies and projects for the government and private sectors, related to environmental impact assessment, rehabilitation of degraded and polluted sites, and ecological studies of protected and open areas, resulted more than 900 scientific and technical reports, and 15 scentific publications published in scientific international journals. A previous experience was in the UK at University of East Anglia particularly. I spent some time as a Visiting Researcher after holding my PhD which was looking at effects of hydrocarbons contamination on microbial community in soil and plant rhizosphere. Metagenomics, metatranscriptomics and high throughput sequencing (MiSeq and HiSeq illumina) were used to better understand. The data were analysed using professional tools including bioinformatics and advanced statistical softwares, including R programming and multivariate analysis.
