Provide oversight and management of all financial functions of the organization, reporting to the executive director.• Remotely managing satellite offices in Jordan and UAE with regular field visits.• Supervise all regular accounting functions for operating and capital management activities, including: supervision of staff performing the daily accounting functions; monthly, quarterly, and annual closing of the general ledger; preparation of budget to actual financial reports; and management of all government contracts of the organization• In conjunction with all senior leadership and department heads, create and manage annual consolidated organization budget.• Produce monthly and quarterly reporting to the organization board of directors.• Work closely with other senior managers to implement and maintain fiscal plans for projects, departments, and organization mission objectives.• Supervise all fiscal reporting, contract reviews, agreement renewals with government agencies, International nongovernmental foundations, and organizations to ensure accuracy and compliance with funding guidelines.• Initiate and manage the redesign and upgrade of JHASI accounting system from local to international system (SAP) and fiscal policies and procedures.• Reporting to the president of the organization and the managing director on monthly basis providing an analytical perspective on cost and overhead analysis, project accountant, budget preparation and monitoring.• Develop and maintain timely and accurate financial statements and reports that are appropriate for the users and in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP)• Develop, implement, and ensure compliance with internal financial and accounting policies and procedures• Prepare all supporting information for the annual audit and liaise with the Board's Audit Committee and the external auditors as necessary.
