About Dr.Intisar Bashir
As Dean Faculty of pharmacy and pharmacy program coordinator, I earned skills of Team leading of the staff, problems solving facing students and staff, curriculum development, infrastructure rehabilitation of the college, collaborations with other faculties locally and internationally for example signing MoU with Bradford University [ UK ] for developing staff and students, Economics and Financial planning as I was responsible for the faculty budget.As a member of Higher Education committees, I earned skills of curriculum accreditation and development, Faculties accreditation. High research skills as supervising plenty of under and post graduate students. As an Associated Professor with deep understanding of, and having good skills in structure elucidation of the isolated compounds from any natural source based on classic and recent spectroscopic methods: (UV, IR, 1H-NMR,1H-1H COSY, 13C-NMR, DEPT 13C-NMR, HSQC, HMQC, EI-,+FAB- and MALDI-TOF-MS) in addition to the comparison of the physical, chemical and chromatographic characters of these compounds with authentic samples. - excellent skills in botanical studies of medicinal plants through their macro- and micromorphological characters of their different parts (leaves, roots, seeds…..etc.). - excellent skills in extraction, fractionation, and isolation of active constituents from natural medicinal plants.
