Irina Webster is a medical doctor, who following her retirement from the conventional medical industry, promotes the value of Medical Intuition and Intuitive Healing to the world. She is the author of many best-selling books about the topic. Working Background: Irina Webster is a medical doctor. She worked as a medical doctor for 14 years before starting her own wellness business educating people about Intuitive Healing & Medical Intuition. She graduated from Northern State Medical University (Russia) in 1993 obtaining the qualification of doctor-pediatrician. In her early years of being a doctor she had a great interest in immunology and even did my post-graduation studies in this field acquiring a qualification of Immunologist –Allergist from the Medical University of Saint-Petersburg (Russia). This 7 year practice in immunology gave her lots of insight in human immune system and how our body get protected from certain diseases.In the Medical University of Saint-Petersburg she had her first connection to a new science called Psychoneuroimmunology (Psycho means psyche, neuro is for nervous system and immunology is for immune system). From there she learned about the strong connection between our psyche (nervous system) and our immune system.Psychoneuroimmunology studies how emotions affect organs and body systems. It is also the science behind the Mind-Body-Spirit connection.During this time, she started collecting scientific data on how emotions and organs are connected. She brought this data with her when she emigrated to Australia in 2001.When she worked as a doctor at the Canberra Hospital (Australia), she continued to gather information about emotional patterns and their effect on the body. She used this information in her book, “The Secret Energy of Your Body”, and in her new second edition she expands upon her knowledge by providing a bibliography of her research.This research proves that behind every illness there is an emotional component. Our body talks to us through pains, aches, symptoms and conditions. When you understand your body, you can heal your life. When she moved to Australia she worked as a medical doctor in Canberra (at the Canberra Hospital) for several years before starting her own business about Medical Intuition & Intuitive Healing.
