Dr. J. C. EDISON is Professor and Dean of NICMAR Business School (NBS), NICMAR University, Pune, India. Currently, Dean NBS, NICMAR University, Pune. He has more than 30 years of experience each in the industry and academics. He is a Professor at NICMAR from August 1995. He is engaged in post-graduate teaching, guiding research scholars, management consultancy and training. He has presented papers in national and international conferences. He has presented papers even at Oxford (Saïd Business School) and Harvard Universities. As Knowledge Partner to the CNBC TV18 Infrastructure Excellence Awards 2009 and 2010, he has developed methodology for rating projects. He has carried out the study of rating and ranking of Fastest Growing Construction Companies for Construction World – NICMAR annual awards for almost a decade. He has been a panel member of consultants with the Asian Development Bank of Manila since 1998. He has also served as member of the project evaluation committee for Department of Scientific and Industrial Research of the Government of India. He has authored books in areas of International Contracting and Project Exports. His book on Infrastructure Development and Construction Management is published by RUTLEDGE (Taylor & Francis), London and NewYork in 2021. His research interest includes Industrial Economics, Economics of Construction and Infrastructure Development, Project Exports, Project Economics in Real Estate and Urban Infrastructure.
